Delete your account

You can request deletion of your Memøries account and all associated data at any time — you don't need the app installed to do this.

What gets deleted

• Your account and email address
• Any photos and videos backed up to the cloud (favorites and albums with backup enabled)
• Your referral code and referral history
• Your friends list, albums you have shared, and your access to albums others shared with you
• Your push notification registration
• Your subscription record (an active subscription itself is managed and cancelled separately through Google Play, under Subscriptions in the Play Store app)

Photos and videos on your device are never affected — deletion only removes what's stored in the cloud under your account.

How to request it

Email us from the address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account":

We'll confirm and delete your data within 30 days.

Deleting only some of your data

You can keep your account and delete only part of your data — for example backed-up photos, a shared album, your friends list or your profile picture. Some of it you can do yourself in the app:

• Revoke a shared album: Album → Share → Link → Revoke link.
• Remove a friend: Profile → Friends → hold on the friend → Remove.
• Stop backing up an album: turn off the Backup switch on the album.

For anything else — including deleting photos that are already backed up — email us and say what you want deleted. We'll do it within 30 days and keep the rest of your account.
